A wonderful example of the 1953 Ferrari 250 MM, which was a star at our show back in 2017. This car is one of just 18 250 MM PF Berlinettas built, and was successfully raced by Efrain Ruiz Echeverria in 1953 Carrera Panamericana. Pic: @timscott Presented by @alangesoehne

Arguably the first supercar: the Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing, a true automotive trailblazer that was capable of hitting over 150mph, a stratospheric speed for a road car in the mid 1950s. Fantastic pictures by @zachbrehl. The Concours of Elegance is presented by @alangesoehne

Introduced in 1931, the Hispano-Suiza J12 offered unparalleled performance, power, and ease of operation, encompassed in an elegant, simplistic, yet opulent presentation. The 1935 Hispano-Suiza J12 Cabriolet offered here is a pedigreed example, with provenance including noted collectors Dr. Sam Scher, Richard Paine, and John Mozart. Featuring attractive coachwork by Vanvooren, the elegant J12 Cabriolet joined the Mullin Collection in 1992 and will now be available in our Selections from the Mullin Collection Auction on April 26. Bodied by legendary French carrosserie Figoni et Falaschi, the car’s first owner was a man nicknamed 'Suicide Freddie', for his fondness for skiing, bobsleigh, motor racing and yachting, whose lifestyle was befitting of the car’s high-performance nature. Le Mans royalty: this Matra MS 670B, which won the great race in 1974, was a star of our Le Mans centenary celebration last September.
